Slashdot - a blog?
Apparantly, Slashdot - one of the best known geek hangouts on the web - is a blog. A multi user blog, no less. ANd here I thought it was just a site that presented News for Nerds (stuff that matters) for us nerdy fools.. or is it dweeb it's called these days?

Alex found this picture and thought it was, in his words, "just plain freaky". I'm not so sure myself thought.. it's a picture that provokes some reaction, but it don't freeak me out. Well... mebbe a little... ;)

Welcome to the 419 Eater
419 Eater is one of many, many websites that has popped up over the last year or so dedicated to the new bloodsport on the internet; baiting 419 scammers (also known as Advance Fee Scam, or Nigeria scam). It's great fun.. not just the site - the letters archive will have you in stiches - but also the actuall baiting.
And besides... by wasting a scammers time, you make it less likely for him to find a real victim; so you'll be having fun and doing a good thing at the same time. Can't beat that!

Okay.. been too long.
This blog is still more or less alive - barely. It has been a busy half year for me; moving house, work, redecorating said house, more work, girlfriend coming over for a five week visit, work, work, preparing for my wedding, work... well, you get the point.
Stay tuned thought; I'll try to be better at posting stuff here in the future. Oh, my girlfriend/fiancee/soon-to-be-wife has gotten a LiveJournal too - you may say that it was that which made me get back to my blog.

Frittfall, the norwegian translation of Freefall, is now up. It's amazing what a kind word can do... and what a link from another website can do. Allready I've gotten mails from two other norwegian furries, and I'm sure more will come.
Still, all is not joy - with the Bell 412 course at Kjevik, the new house and life in general to get on with, I don't have too much time devoted for translating stuff. I do hope to get 20 stripes done each week for a while, which would mean that it will take me 37 weeks to get to the latest stripe Mark published in english - and he make 3 stripes a week, so to get those he do between now and then will take me another six week, in which time he has made enought new ones to keep me busy for another week... so, all in all, don't expect the translation and the ortiginal to be in synch for another year or so.
